Dr. Umed Singh is a licensed psychologist by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), Certified Hypnotherapist from Indian Hypnosis Academy (Approved by International Hypnosis Federation, USA) proficient in psychometric assessment, psychological therapies and research work with a career of 20 years in this field. Former Professor of psychology Dr. Umed Singh had worked in the Deptt. Of Psychology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He had also worked in the capacity of Director, P.G. Regional Centre of KUK, Jind and as an Academic Consultant in Department of Psychology, Central University of Haryana, Mahendargarh. Prof. Umed Singh has obtained his Post graduate and Doctoral Degrees from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He began his carrier in the field of Teaching in 1979 and then joined State Civil Services for some period but due to his love for academics he shifted himself back to academics and served the university on various positions. He worked as a Director of I.A.S. Coaching Academy, KUK, Coordinator NSS, and Member of Executive Council etc. He has to his credit 4 books and over 60 research papers published in International/National peer-reviewed journals. He has supervised 50 Master’s dissertations, over 100 M.Phil. dissertations and 20 PhD’s in the field of Psychology. His areas of specializations are Mental Abilities, Personality, Clinical Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Hypnotherapy.
